Low pay, bad management

Pros

Flexible work hours for work life balance. Annual offsite conference in a foreign country.

Cons

Bad management, as managers leave teams they don't hire for new ones. Leaves works with no direction or personal career growth. No annual raises or performance reviews. I worked here for a few years and have left over a year ago. After starting with a new company I have come to realize that this company lacks a lot of direction, team work and communication. Lots of pettiness also coming from upper management. Compensation is also very short coming compared to the same role in the industry. I am now being compensated over 40% more for the same job.

Pros

Great work and life balance, the company really values and trusts its employees. When you work hard, get results and are pro-active the company rewards you with trust and freedom. You are able to choose how to work with your clients and to plan your own work schedule - you can ask for help when you need it, but there is no micro managing in this company. The opportunities that are given to you are great and you can learn a lot from senior people in the company, who treat you as equals and are involved in your personal growth.

Cons

The company is growing really fast and senior management is looking into different ways to expand - this happens really strategically but sometimes smaller tasks are overlooked. This does not have a direct impact on your daily work life and I do not experience it as a problem, but when these gaps are filled the company will run more smoothly.
