Pros

owned by macys so there may growth potential if you play politics with the right people. Chances to win free products

Cons

District management and corporate disorganized and unprofessional. Constantly ask you to spend your personal money on things for the store then take 2-3 months to reimburse. Few holidays or weekends off. Company rarely follows through on promises. Low pay. Poor benefits. Very high turn over.

Pros

You learn ALOT. Management wants to teach you so you can succeed. Managers are flexible in office. PTO/401K/Health &Dental, Paid Parking in Headquarters which is in heart of Washington, D.C. - saves employees $$. Company continues to grow and open new stores which leads to new positions - continue to promote from within and those who have been within company grow with the knowledge of the business. they attained.

Cons

Work on office culture & communication. Corporate office is lead by senior VPs who are friendly and have helped with office culture. Would like to see more initiatives from company viewpoint. Some in office feel there is no place to grow when indeed there is - it is important to have communication among staff and different divisions of company.
