Wonderful company to work for. Lots of communication from corporate. Many contests and events to motivate staff. Friendly environment with super nice clientele. Lots of gratis and training. Great opportunities of growth with the company growing and the company truly cares about every employee. Overall the best cosmetic retail company to work for.

Cons

Have not found any yet! The company is very organized and takes a lot of feedback to perfect there opportunities.

No leadership or development

Pros

There is a lot of potential. The lower level associates are eager and great to work with. It was a fast paced environment with a lot of growth. There were talented VPs and directors added to the organization to help with leadership.

Cons

There is no leadership from the top, it is run by two people who only care about themselves. There is ZERO paid maternity leave and NO short term disability for a company full of women. The thinking is very short term. There is no trust. A fingerprint is required to sign in and out everyday!

Get away with anything!

Pros

Do you want to come to work high on speed and/or drunk? No problem! Do you want to give away LIVE merchandise to your "client" (*cough*friend*cough)? No problem! Are you a pathological liar? No problem! Do you want to trade testers for drugs in the back office? No problem! Do you want to push pills on your staff because they look a little lethargic one day? No problem! Do you want to have a few alcoholic drinks on your lunch break? No problem! Do you want to show up four hours late for your shift almost every day? No problem! These are just a FEW examples of things that employees have gotten away with. They were not even written up, let alone fired. So, if you want to take that as a "pro", you can use these examples to get away with just about anything and you never have to worry about losing your job.

Cons

While bad behavior gets ignored (see "Pros"), good behavior rarely gets recognized and definitely does not get rewarded.
