Pros

Gratis. Other than that I really really can not think of any pros what so ever. Worst job I've ever had.

Cons

Whoever wrote the review that the negative reviews are only from people that have been fired. That's total non sense. The store I worked at was never firing anyone as they would all quit and leave on their own. The turnover was ridiculous. This company cares nothing about their employees.

Pros

The only pro to this place is you can meet some vendors and they have good products.

Cons

Their choices for management are always mind blowing, extremely incompetent. The company doesn't care about employees, district manger does NOTHING. She's ignores problems and is not fit for her position at all! This place also has no growth and they pay random numbers not based on talent, but more of age.

Pros

Lovely and beautiful store environment. Client centric focus. Supportive brands. Prestigious beauty retailer. Employee discount generous, Spa services complimentary, great training for managers in Princeton, NJ.

Cons

Area Managers, District Managers, Regional Directors and the upper level corporate management are where things get hairy. They are disconnected, disillusioned, bullies that do not understand how hard their teams work at the ground level. Regardless of how you followed the proper protocols, if the outcome does not generate the sales numbers they set without further examination they will immediately place blame on the retail sales associates and store manager. Any feedback that is given to the individuals in these upper level management positions has gone without response or address. To simply put it, they do not care, you are replaceable, as anyone who works at this company. They consistently remind their retail associates of this by threatening documentation for any and all circumstances, regardless of how minute of a detail was overlooked. Mistakes and outdated business practices, along with human error are things that happen and their employees should not bear the brunt of their anger or frustrations. Bonus structure for employees is a joke and insulting, especially with the effort and hard work that goes into making those sales goals. Over 10 to 20% of your total store sales MUST come from Bluemercury's proprietary brands M61 and Lune & Aster. They also do not pay employees for the use of their personal cellular devices (which is a demand of upper level management) and reading along with responding to emails, sent to your personal account, which in most states is considered time theft. Time work=Time Paid.
