Pros

Good starting pay and benefits. Paid time off is good. Opportunity to come in at the ground floor with lots of opportunities for growth. They send swag, gifts quite often that is amazing.

Cons

Where to start. I got almost zero training and was thrown in the fire so to speak. They have improved training since I started but it still has a long way to go. Frontline agents are taught more on the call handling aspect and not the knowledge and processes. So many spreadsheets to try and keep up with the constant changes it will make your head spin. Disorganized and confusing. Lots and lots of bad client and agent experiences. Lot's of growing pains and constant changes. Lots of issues with internal processes that are just awful for customers. Focus does not seem to be on the customers experience most of the time. Lots of upper management saying they care and want feedback but doesn't feel like its heard or matters when it comes down to it.

Pros

There are a lot of "perks" at BlueVine, but as most workers know, that's not what we're actually after. The bottom line: BlueVine offers full time employees competitive compensation, full benefits, and flexible hybrid work. Culture and work: BlueVine is an inclusive company focused on promoting a healthy working culture. In my department, no one expects you to work past your hours on any kind of regular basis, and deadlines are negotiated and reasonable. I've been extremely impressed by the HR department (a difficult feat), and the benefits are actually approachable, affordable, and good. So much of my life + work stress has been relieved by starting at BlueVine. Honestly, if they stay on this path, respecting and valuing their employees with yearly reviews and raises, I never want to leave. The perks (because they're nice on top of the important stuff): Coffee, snacks, drinks, beer, full functioning kitchen + supplies, happy hours, holiday party (with transportation included), commuter benefits/WFH stipend, health stipend, standing desks, phone rooms to take personal calls, ping pong table, free lunch once a week, sunny office, amazing views of NYC and the Statue of Liberty, a handwritten note welcoming me to the team, etc. I've honestly probably forgotten some things.

Cons

BlueVine is growing a lot. That's good, and hopefully, they'll stay on the current path and keep treating employees as well as they do now.
