Compensation for procurement agents is extremely poor. I have been with the company for a little over a year, and the Indirect Supply chain has gone through 2 rounds of layoffs within the past year. Depending on what team you’re on, management is incompetent at times, and exceptional at others. I am part of the early career development program. Leaders of the program seem more set on holding their employees back then letting them flourish. They are more concerned with stability in their job than “creating the future of Boeing” as they preached to me. Management doesn’t even pretend to care.
