      Extremely Stressful and Lots of Overtime

      Pros

      - Definitely had the opportunity(not really a choice) to learn A LOT about the overall satellite AI&T life cycle. Prepared me for a big move in Aerospace, particularly Space. - Was able to take on a huge role with a lot of visibility

      Cons

      - Extreme pressure from program, management, etc., non-stop pushing towards schedule and often unrealistic goals. - Some of the people are difficult to work with, stuck on old-ways of doing things and some are manipulative. - Expect to work a lot of overtime and weekends, and be guilt tripped into doing so. - Management does not care about your well-being. I developed and currently still deal with an anxiety disorder, alopecia, and insomnia from the months of constant stress - currently seeing multiple physicians to help. - Hi-Bay was the most volatile, difficult, and aggressive environment to work in.

      - good team & management - work life balance - some work flexibility - good benefits - opportunities for self improvements, college accreditations & self improvement

      Cons

      - economic impacts have caused much uncertainty & anxiety in recent years - leadership communication & direction can be lacking. Seems to have been focusing too much on its bottomline rather than employees' welfare - Plenty of changes in executive leadership roles recently. Lots of important roles and functions are being eliminated to save costs. High volume of talent drain & synergies lost. Employees are becoming unsure of the direction it's taking - can feel overly corporate and hierarchical - system changes & integration can be cumbersome and lagging behind other similar sized companies - base pay is not as competitive as other industries - loyalty is not always valued, especially in down times. Executives who have contributed much to the company's previous success are being discarded or moved around from important roles with little logic beside saving money

      Not really anything besides insurance.

      Cons

      If you’re working in finance/accounting expect a toxic environment full of people just looking to climb the corporate ladder and won’t care about throwing you under the bus to get there. Will over work you and under pay you.
