      Cons

      Overworked and underpaid, aides are not appreciated. They will make you do things outside of your scope of practice. Mental stress and heavy physical demand

      Pros

      Valued the employees. Available career development. Salaries were fair. Good work/personal life balance Bon Secours had a strong ethos. I felt proud to be an employee and pleased to continually make self-sacrifices for the mission. Some very good people.

      Cons

      The ethos has significantly diminished. Employees going through a reorg were told "no one would lose their jobs." Several rounds of layoffs/outsourcing later, hundreds lost their positions at Bon Secours Mercy Health.
