      Shift differential is the only perk

      Pros

      Base pay is low. But shift differential is $5/hr for nights and an additional $5/hr on weekends. Also if you pick up shifts, you get an additional incentive pay

      Cons

      Surprisingly our health insurance isn't that great

      Pros

      Called to shine - a platform to recognize other associates and earn points towards monetary rewards through the expansive store. Education benefits where you can get degrees fully paid for (Personally got my masters fully paid for). People that work at the hospital are nice and have a true sense of purpose. You can walk down the hallway and you are received with smiles and “hey how are doing” from people you know or may not know. The Greenville market is booming! So much opportunity for growth and development.

      Cons

      Healthcare is hard. Long hours at times, but that’s what you’re signing up for. It is structured at the 40 hour mark so if you stay late one day, then you have the autonomy to adjust the next day or during the week.

      Pros

      One of the best reasons why I like working at Bon Secours Mercy Health is simply the staff that I work with in the ED aka the emergency department. They make me feel like a member of the family and not just a number. I have and will always encourage anyone to come and work here.

      Cons

      This is very my newt however I would love to have the option of having a smoothie machine in the cafeteria and the waiting room down in the ER can have a little better decor.
