Pros

Good salary, benefits are standard for the industry

Cons

Management prioritizes numbers over support staff. They care more about productivity stats and pharmacy sales than they do about the well-being of the people doing the work. Favoritism is blatant. Rules and policies are enforced differently depending on who you are. A big problem is their very large referral bonuses, which cover doctors and office managers (and I think registered vet techs). People refer their friends, who may be underqualified. These people will be treated with favoritism, and mistakes covered up for, so that they can stay in the job long enough for the person to get their referral bonus. And of course because the person likely referred a friend, they are a favorite who will be treated different If you speak up, you’re not praised - you’re punished. Advocating for yourself or raising concerns (even professionally) often results in being iced out, gaslit, or micromanaged. They ignore serious issues. Again, this is often covering up for people unqualified for their job, but recommended for it due to the referral bonus. Turnover is extremely high, for nurses and assistants, who aren't valued. They are asked to change shifts at the last minute. They have 24 hr or less notice that hey, we want you to go to another hospital instead. Management of staff by the OM is often unsupportive and poor, so they leave.

Pros

Management and leadership are approachable, accessible, and genuinely listen to team members’ feedback. It creates an environment where you feel heard and supported. Unlike many veterinary practices where you're hired into a role and remain there indefinitely, Bond Vet really values professional growth. There are clear opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the company, which makes a big difference if you're looking to build a long-term career.

Cons

The pace can be fast at times, especially during busy periods, but it keeps the work engaging and helps you build strong skills.
