Pros

The company was great. Great pay and benefits. Everyone was very nice.

Cons

I started as part-time and after a month they were supposed to add clients but never did. It was home based therapy and I was supposed to be based close to where I live for most of my clients. But most of them were 45 min away.

Thank you for your positive review. We appreciate all your dedication and efforts working with our families. We primarily serve most of the Eastern Massachusetts region and portions of Rhode Island. Our service areas are mostly governed by the catchment areas assigned to us by the Dept of Public Health. We try our best to limit driving time for our staff, but sometimes people live or move to areas that are not within 30 minutes of a client's home that has been referred to us. We very much appreciate this feedback and will be sure it is shared with our Directors. We are sorry this did not work out for you and US! We wish you the best with your future employment.

Pros

Great support from BCBA and Clinical directors. Great learning opportunities for aspiring BCBAs. Tuition discount scheme to pursue masters in ABA.

Cons

Benefits aren’t great. Feel guilty taking time off. Limited to no paid federal holidays so increased chance of burnout. Lack of opportunity for pay increase. Upper management not the best at communicating.

Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate you acknowledging the high quality clinical work of our BCBAs and Clinical Directors. We also appreciate and thank you for the time you dedicated to our clients, as I am sure you impacted their lives in a very positive way. Our tuition reimbursement program is not a scheme, but a legitimate benefit that attracts many people to our organization. We have a wonderful partnership with Regis University in nearby Weston and offer up to 30% discounted tuition to pursue a graduate degree in ABA. So many of our staff have benefitted from this partnership. Staff can also access other programs as well including speech therapy or other degree in a related field. We do this to help you grow professionally. Some of our best BCBAs have grown with us, starting as RBTs and have moved up the ladder into BCBA roles and Director roles. Many of us at BBLC started this way at other organizations and this is our way to give back, since there are not enough of us doing this type of rewarding work every day. BBLC also offers many other benefits which we review during our orientation and onboarding including health/dental benefits, 401K MATCH program, paid licensure renewal and we also offer paid CEUs and reimburse our BCBA for technology needed to do their jobs each day. We are sorry you felt guilty about taking any time off. As part of our benefits, we also offer paid holidays, floating holidays, vacation time and sick time to all our full time staff to spend time with their families and friends, rejuvenate and recover if they are sick. Our centers also closed the last week of December so that our staff can all have a break leading up to the new year. We wish you the best of luck in your future employment.

Pros

opportunity to be a part of a growing company

Cons

no annual cost of living raises, if you want an annual eval you have to ask for it and it's just an eval, it's not attached to a raise.
