Good people who want to make a difference

Cons

Tremendous amount of time spent on reorgs, thus skills that do not enhance a resume. People afraid of management causing herd mentality no matter what. Head down mentality until the economy improves. Good ole boys club. 2010 stock comp was pathetic and had no relationship to performance. Bonus cut , benefits cut and layoffs have nothing to do with the economy... someone has to pay for new CEO (2nd highest paid in America).

Good Engineers, Poor Managers

Pros

Good training opportunities, flexible time, might get a small bonus once is a while. "Celebration" part is okay - each project gets celebrated in a restaurant or a bar. You can wear jeans at work.

Cons

Management level is pretty poor. M1s (low level) are just M2 wannabees that do nothing much. Innovations that come from the employees become unsupported, and even punishable. I am not a racist, but looks like managers promote their country men so they scratch each others back.

Upper and middle management needs to improve on leadership skills. Management is not competitive and hands off.
