- Extreme micromanagement being passed down the foodchain from manager to manager. Managers facing extreme pressure and micromanagement from executives, leading them to do the same to their team member to perform, or forcing them to lie to bolster the manager's performance. - Employees are mostly treated like children, as managers do not trust their teams to do their jobs -Career development is almost non-existent, management generally accepts a "chew up and spit out" philosophy - Generally short-sighted decision making from execs, resulting in little to no career growth opportunities and a mostly unhappy workforce turning-over frequently. - Compensation about average, but no equity for any non-execs

this company is highly dysfunctional, and most of it stems from the exec team. impossible demands, miscommunication, and just kind of a miserable work environment. micro-management galore. it's a shame, because the product is great. I doubt the company will stay around long with the mismanagement. don't take a job here. there are a million startups in NYC.
