      Pros

      I ave worked at Bottomline for a number of years, and have enjoyed working with some of the best people I have ever met. The company has an incredibly strong set of ethics and our customers partner with us through every challenge because of the quality of our teams. Many folks have left Bottomline only to return at a later time because they realized the excellent work environment they left. I am proud to be part of Bottomline and its people, and I will work here until retirement.

      Cons

      High expectations and standards that need high energy and commitment is required. It is not for everyone.

      Pros

      Bottomline has stayed true to its roots - business payments - and that commitment has served its customers and employees well. It also keeps Bottomline well-positioned to weather the current uncertainty. The company has aggressively up-leveled talent for the last two years and the product suite continues to expand, while maintaining its focus.

      Cons

      Too few to focus on right now - it's rapidly growing and evolving and with that come typical growing pains, but for people that want to be a part of an organization quickly headed in the right direction, the headaches are worth it.

      Pros

      I worked in accounting/finance department. The staff were great to work with - everyone was very helpful when you had questions or needed their assistance.

      Cons

      Systems had not caught up to company's size - lots of manual work in Excel. Long hours expected at quarter and year-end closes. Management of the department was difficult to work with and not very accessible.

      Thank you for the review and observations on systems. You are correct - our systems have not always kept up with our growth. We recently implemented a new global ERP as well as other technology platforms to successfully address that issue. We have also made systems a priority across our business to ensure that we have the technology to properly scale. We know we have a lot more growth ahead.
