Pros
Great people. Competitive benefits. That's really about all I can say. Not a lot of "pros" these days. There is a lot of potential. This could be a great company.
Cons
Investors come first. We're currently boiling the ocean building out the next great banking platform, but the company has not invested in people. In fact, I'd say they have divested in people. I've survived 3 rounds of layoffs in the last 4 years and they haven't back-filled much. The result is sloppy, late code getting shipped. Frustrated customers, stressed out employees (many of which are actively seeking other employment). Raises are minimal. Bonuses don't get funded b/c of missed (outrageous) revenue targets based on impossible promises to huge customers. The employees get it. Middle management gets it. But nothing changes.
