      Great co-workers, deep field of knowledge and friendly environment

      Cons

      BCH claims to pay off of Salary surveys, which reflect local pay range, but don't take in to account that Denver/Boulder ranks low in the national standards of healthcare pay

      In my Dept, I love the staff, the teamwork and the professionalism

      Cons

      Like any hospital, the on call pay is only $2/hour.

      Pros

      The teamwork and values at BCH (Foothills campus) are really admirable, and everyone generally prides themselves on great patient care.

      Cons

      BCH cannot financially keep up with its competitors, so it is "very far in debt and cannot afford to make ground level financial changes". Because of this the nursing staff and support staff suffer with low pay, high turnover, and outrageous call hours.
