Such a disappointment

Pros

Corporate employees are very nice

Cons

After such a fun internship experience, I decided to work full time for the company. Unfortunately stuck with a horrible manager, who fires people when they find out she is sleeping with one of the maintenance men. When bringing issues to HR, was ignored and not taken seriously. When I gave my 2 week notice, I was told by my regional that my bonuses would be paid to me. When I didn't get anything I contacted him and all of a sudden there is an excuse of why I can't get the money I earned. Very political. You won't grow in the company if your manager has something against you, no matter how good of a job you do.

Concierge...

Pros

Was at Bozzuto for about a year and a half as a Concierge... it is a great place to start, but unless you truly connect with the Property Manager and their boss, it may very well be a dead end job. My 3% pay raise did not even cover the increase in health costs, and despite the fact that I was excellent at my job, there seemed to be no place to go.

Cons

As a Concierge, you may well receive 100 - 200 packages daily for a 300 unit complex. Some of these packages may include a set of tires, a kitchen set, dresser, chair for the kitchen, 9x11 foot carpet and so on. You need a strong back and the ability to handle a busy job plus process in packages. And there's drycleaning, that also will require lifting as well.

Disappointed and dissatisfied

Pros

Met SOME great people in the years I was with Bozzuto - others not so much. It is a growing company which is nice.

Cons

Most "managers" that I worked under were horrible. They were unfair and act as dictators. This place is ALL politics. I was even told this by a big wig in the company - that I had to meet the "right" person in order to succeed. I asked to speak with my regional and was completely avoided/ignored. My work-life balance s*cked because I was stuck working every weekend and nobody cared. I am a great employee and worked hard for a company to get no where. However, I took my expertise elsewhere and I am LOVING IT! The best decision I've made.
