Pros

No two days the same, constant knowledge growth, pride on customer service, high sales supports employment stability

Cons

Above says it all, company more concerned about company profitability rather than investing into proper management, infrastructure and training programs. High stress and turnover due to low resources and sales driving culture rather than development

Pros

Decent pay starting out. You can gain more IT knowledge very quickly, a very caring HW Manager who looks out for the group.

Cons

Overbearing work load! It's very hard to keep track of your projects and priorities, often felt lost and confused. CEO seems very disinterested in the company morale and the company as a whole. Sales department over sells unnecessary tech.

Good place to learn, bad place to stay

Pros

Good place to learn about IT, including Linux, Windows, and VMware. There are interesting challenges to approach and resolve. Credit union vertical is expanding with focus in international areas like the Caribbean. The company is desperate to build morale and has frequent "stress relief" days (Cook outs, carry-ins, field days, etc) to compensate.

Cons

Despite marketing claims, the company's Medical vertical is in maintenance mode and will likely be closed in the near future. The company's research into international markets is non-existent or seemingly minimal at best, and emergencies regarding stumbling blocks forconverting international customers is common. The company requires a contract for employment and 6 month notice from employees looking to leave the company, and seems to be a way for management to curb the exodus of talent and subsidize the lack of on-boarding and training programs. If you break contract you're liable to pay back the company. Little room for advancement to a higher level position, just opportunity to do more work at the same compensation levels. Poor corporate structure with no clear line of succession if owner were to decide to retire Company needs a transformation in culture and technology practices to be effective in the future.
