The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. As an essential business that has launched thousands of social distancing, healthcare and lab-related products to help in the fight against COVID-19, we have taken several steps to ensure our employees' wellbeing in the workplace. This includes implementing social distancing measures, additional cleaning measures, and protocols in place if an employee tests positive. We adhere to all country, state or local requirements, including implementing mask-wearing protocols in our facilities. Employees are encouraged to talk to their manager or contact our internal COVID hotline if they have special concerns or questions.

Pros

Co-workers are great! Many of their products are made in the US. Always trying to innovate and improve upon current products.

Cons

Very few advancement opportunities. Minimal salary increases. Yearly bonuses are never guaranteed. Working remotely is not allowed. AWFUL response to COVID-19: closed our offices at the last possible moment and only because it was mandated (not because they cared for anyone's health or safety). Returned to full office capacity as soon as possible. We were told if we were exposed to or contracted COVID-19 we had to take PTO or unpaid time off as opposed to working from home or coming up with another arrangement that doesn't completely screw the employee.

Brady takes the health and wellbeing of our employees very seriously and took action as the COVID situation evolved. As an essential business making COVID-related products, Brady's US production facilities remained open. We returned our office employees to work using a phased approach and have implemented social distancing measures and enhanced disinfecting and cleaning at all of our sites. We have also implemented leave policies that promote workers staying at home when they or other household members are sick, or when required by a healthcare provider. Employees who test positive or are asked to quarantine by a doctor or at the request of Brady will qualify for short term disability under our benefit plan.

Pros

Brady is a relaxed place to work. The deadlines are reasonable and the projects while interesting are not cutting edge but a bit easy.

Cons

Every year for the past three years I have been here upper management has shifted. Whether it be a new CEO, the director of R&D being fired, or people leaving after a short period of time, there is always a new face and a new direction.
