Pros

Decent work life balance, rank & file work colleagues are generally good to work with.

Cons

Another clueless senior management team that has no idea how to reverse the fortunes of this once great company. CEO doesn't value employees that have seniority dating back to the "good old days" when this was a money making machine. He's trying everything to run people with seniority out of the company. This, along with people leaving on their own has left a huge void in the talent and skill level throughout the company. Short sighted decisions have turned this company into the "Titanic" and are trying to tidy things up for a potential sale or divestiture.

Pros

None come too mind at this point

Cons

Brady was always a 19th century company. I worked at a division based outside of Milwaukee that had constant leadership turnover in my almost a decade. several months ago I ran into the CEO, who has been at the company FOREVER, which should tell you something. I asked him how it was going. He had zero interest in talking. I asked him about the WFH policy as I've heard a lot of complaining about that, as many of my best colleagues used to be WFH and were let go. His response was "That's core value now at Brady. Everyone is in the office every day." I started to ask about what that does in terms of attracting and retaining top talent for a Milwaukee-based company that strives to be global. He cut me off. "I don't care. It's the way it was and the way it always will be." So that's Brady in a nutshell. A catalog business from 1918.

Pros

If you find a good circle and tell people what they want to hear, you'll be ok and comfortable. That's probably how people have stayed here for 25+ years.

Cons

No one knows what management wants or is doing Most mid level managers are not qualified for their positions both from educational perspective as well as inability to deal with people Employees are tracked at every point. Not talking about work but on a personal level. Phones, activities outside of office are closely monitored. Do not use office wifi! Diversity and inclusion initiative is a joke. It exists only on paper. Someone else on here mentioned making fun of other cultures. Can 100% confirm this.
