      Pros

      - This company views you as a human first, employee second. They support and even push you to prioritize family. - The employees here are SHARP. You will be pushed to bring your A game and get better. - There is work life balance. You will have super busy periods with your customers but managers are great about then letting you relax and regroup when it quiets down vs making busy work for you. - If you build a brand internally and perform well there are LOTS of growth opportunities here. But you have to take control of your own destiny! - Both respect and enjoy our senior leadership team.

      Cons

      - Pay and benefits package could be more competitive. - Less transparency post-IPO (but to be expected). - There is some toxicity with employees that have been here for a long time and haven't caught up to the current state of Braze, the economy, tech industry, etc.

      Pros

      I've really enjoy my time at Braze. The culture here is great—there's a real sense of community, and the company puts in the effort to make the office a great place to be. From well-designed workspaces to events and extras that bring people together, it's clear that fostering a strong workplace culture is a priority. The fast-paced product development keeps things exciting, and with clients from all kinds of industries, you’re constantly learning something new. No two days feel the same, which makes the job engaging and dynamic.

      Cons

      The salary is a bit below market expectations and the company has become stricter about remote work, which can be challenging for flexibility. That said, the work environment and growth opportunities still make it a rewarding experience overall.

      Pros

      My manager at Braze was great, and the work-life balance was good. It was a great environment to grow as a mid-level engineer, and the Dev Ops experience was pretty nice.

      Cons

      There is some annoying legacy code. For example, the frontend was a mishmash of Knockout and React, so navigating the codebase and migrating the code was sometimes frustrating.
