Pros

Higher starting pay than most places, but so not worth it.

Cons

Absolutely everything. Zero flexibility in scheduling. They give you a generous amount of PTO and make it impossible to use, and they force you to use it if you are sick (PLUS they give you an attendance demerit in addition to that). Absolutely zero care for customer service as Alliance Data policies regarding late fees, bill pay, and the like are largely unreasonable. Most of the customers you speak to will be yelling at you about $40 late fees, and it weighs very heavily on your mental state. They have laid off close to 500 associates between September 2019 and now and I’m sure they have no plans in stopping. I have one friend from training who is still there (most of us left very soon after getting the job as it is that horrible), and she has informed me that I’m the midst of this COVID-19 outbreak, they still insist on having their employees come in and risk their health when they are capable of allowing them to work from home. And absolute morally bankrupt company that cares for money first over their associates, and certainly does not care for their customers. I cannot day enough negative things about my experience. There is a reason they are ALWAYS hiring....... The turnover is staggering because they have no idea how to treat people. The girl who sat behind me requested a Saturday off to be the maid of honor in her best friend’s wedding and they actually told her no. This is going to be your reality all the time if you work for them.

Our policies are put in place to help ensure we can succeed as a business and to create an environment of consistency for our associates. However, we are constantly evolving our approach to various policy topics, and we use feedback from our associates to help guide decisions regarding changes.

Favoritism. Lack of Logic. ZERO ROOM FOR GROWTH UNLESS YOU BACKSTAB THE RIGHT PEOPLE.
