Pros
Overall I would say that the executive leadership team strives for transparency. While communication can always be a point of improvement with any company, the Alliance Data leadership team makes strong efforts to use multiple avenues when communicating change including town halls, round tables, 1:1 leadership/team meetings, and weekly/quarterly newsletters. Alliance Data is a relationship based company and I've found that most of the people I work with are very friendly. ADCS has provided me with many growth opportunities through both my professional development and technical development. In my few years with the company I've had the opportunity to work in two different departments and take on three different positions. I've never felt that I've been treated unfairly and I will say that I've been very fortunate to work for strong leaders who have encouraged me to try new things/pushed me out of my comfort zone to drive my development. Overall I would recommend Alliance Data Card Services to someone who is looking for a place to grow their career.
Cons
Alliance Data is a high growth company. While this isn't a bad thing, it is important that you're comfortable with change if you're considering joining Alliance Data. Change is the one true constant and you should be comfortable knowing that what you to today may be different in a year. While I've found that to be the exciting part of being at Alliance Data, I recognize that constant change isn't for everyone.
