Not Worth it at all

Pros

Certain staff are very motivated in what they do

Cons

Low staff morale, it almost seems as if everyone hates their job and are just there to get paid. Upper management definitely does not appreciate lower management at all and employees are treated like nothing and are often disposable

Pros

Amazing cause. Amazing people. Amazing internship.

Cons

There are no cons. JDRF was a game changer for my life.

Pros

Ultimately the biggest pro of working at JDRF (that of it being a medical NPO) becomes also the biggest con. The mission is noble and the volunteers are often great.

Cons

Pay stinks. It's a recent grad mill. No or little advancement opportunities. Feels like the money push always edges out the mission driven work. Most money does not go directly to cure so you feel often disengenious with donors.
