Pros

The mission and the cause are worthwhile. You get to work with amazing volunteers that are truly invested personally in the cause.

Cons

Management has absolutely no leadership or management skills. HR is a nightmare. The directions they give the ED's on how to address their staff is horrible. I'm surprised there have not been lawsuits. The ED's are incompetent. It seems that when one ED or regional moves from another organization, they just bring their flock. So you end up with a group of people not invested personally. You also end up with them pushing out great and tenures staff

Amazing company that does nothing but good. I have been working with the JDRF since 2001, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Cons

The only negative thing I've noticed is for our local chapter, there are four people working at the office, and they cover 7 counties.

High turnover at all levels except primary National level staff, top level leadership at the National level have been there forever and give instruction at a theoretical level not at a realistic chapter level which can make hitting fundraising goals a challenge
