who is pulling the fire-drill?!
Pros
amazing cause, phenomenal & smart volunteers and staff to work with-- worth every moment the time you spend trying to accomplish our mission of treating, preventing, and curing T1D!
Cons
can't seem to stick to a plan and follow it through. driving too many priorities, which impacts everything always being urgent and nothing being done right. this approach drives stronger employees to burn out or leave, which basically puts the organization back again. depending on what dept you're in, too much bureaucracy to deal with to get good work done! know of at least 2 or 3 good projects that are collecting dust because sr. execs keep shifting priorities or structure-- no one seems to know who they'll be reporting to next or even if they might be let go-- again, depends on what dept you're in.
