      They'll milk you for everything you're worth and not compensate for more.

      Pros

      Expensed on the market opportunities. Cool people.

      Cons

      You get rewarded for your expertise by more work, not a merit increase - even when people in equal positions lack technical skills. Analysts are building reports for people in the organization who lack technical skills. They hire analysts who cannot even perform basic excel functions like SUMIF god forbid they introduce concepts of standard deviation. Lots of rule breaking as well. HR is useless and unresponsive when serious infractions are happening at the company. This company deserves a lawsuit.

      Best company I’ve ever worked for

      Pros

      Culture. Leadership. Products. Benefits. I absolutely love my leadership team and co workers. I have worked for a handful of huge multinational corporations and have yet to ever feel the sense of community and culture that breakthru has. I can’t say enough good things about them.

      Cons

      Growing very quickly and having a hard time keeping up with demand for positions so it strains the current reps a little bit, but it’s growing pains not really a con.

      Easy entry level job

      Associate sales representative (asr)

      Pros

      Easy job to start within the alcohol industry. Pay is whatever. They don’t cover gas, insurance or mileage for your car. $40k salary.

      Cons

      A broken system that requires your to make two separate trips to the same store. One to order and one to return to place your order on the shelf — stupid process that is across all stores and brand. Hard to upsell your stores if your product is wack and doesn’t sell. You’re essentially a mindless body just putting orders and returning to stock shelves.
