Pros

Entry level roles attract good people

Cons

James Watt. Senior management clueless across all departments. No second chances, you're out the door on your first mistake. Oh, and the pay sucks.

Pros

Living Wage Bonus scheme Training is top in the field They hire a lot of cool people so you make good friends Genuinely believe some management are trying their hardest, just very inexperienced with an inexperienced CEO who tends to make decisions on a whim.

Cons

Hire and fire policy is totally out of control especially within bar management, they will fire anyone for one mistake. Breeds a culture of fear. Expected to make the job your life. Stress at being given so much work I had no training for that I was working every day all day and still getting told off for not seeing an email during my 8 odd hours off in 24. Management is muddled and full of petty popularity contests. If you can’t play the game and be “BrewDog” you won’t progress despite skills. Bit culty. They make vague or real promises of progression that they don’t follow through on, leaving people stuck at one level for a long time when they could have been pursuing opportunities elsewhere or having their skills properly used by the company. Salaries once you go past base aren’t competitive at all.

Pros

Level of complexity in every role you do here Global career pathways Room for growth to grow with the business Beer education and beer allowance Unicorn Fund (10% to me, 10% to charities of MY choice) Fast paced Inspiring

Cons

Chaos on a daily basis. But if you thrive in creativity and problem solving BrewDog will always operate a lean team. The pace is difficult for some people, again for some and not others. This job is not just "a job" it turns into a lifestye
