Pros

BrewDog honestly care about their people, which makes them an amazing company to work for. Benefits are impressive (enhanced paternity policies, puppy leave, unicorn fund) and they are always willing to think outside the box.

Cons

(not a con for me personally) BrewDog work at an incredible pace which can cause changes to be constantly evolving before you've got to grips with the last change.

Pros

I have finally found a job that I love. BrewDog is an outstanding company, where you won't just be a number. I have never been surrounded by such dedicated, genuine, phenomenal people. The Company is fast paced, you will never be bored! One minute you'll be talking to a customer the next you'll be saying hey to a real reindeer! I have never felt so valued, we are lucky enough to enjoy some amazing crew treats, from private health care to profit share (Unicorn Fund). Never thought i'd see the day i look forward to going to work, don't get me wrong holidays are great too, we even get an extra day for our Birthday. There is also massive scope for personal growth as well as outstanding training to make you the best at what you do. Come and work for BrewDog you won't regret it!

Cons

If you don't like happy people that are enjoying life and like to clap a little, then this isn't the place for you.

Pros

BrewDog is making it their mission to become the best employer ever. No business is perfect and as we are still pretty young and growing at an insane speed, it's easy to run into unexpected problems. However, the people team are ace and constantly listening to feedback from teams. They have implemented many new benefits in the last 12 months, including free private healthcare, an unbelievable enhanced pension contribution, and equal end of year bonus for ALL employees. They have also recently launched a world-class staff and management training scheme that goes hand in hand with a learning and development fund for each employee. There are also great progression opportunities across the board; packaging teams are put through their apprenticeships, and there is a great bar management development programme too. Lots of people have moved up through the ranks from junior positions and have been given chances unheard of in other companies.

Cons

The culture in BrewDog is work hard, play hard. There's no denying it's a lean machine and can get pretty intense sometimes, but one of the best parts of working here is having an incredible and supportive team. I wouldn't say it's a con, but I can definitely say not everyone can hack the pace here. Right now, there are plans to improve work-life balance further, but we already have a great on-site gym, outside classes and team activities! The location isn't a bustling city, but it is ideal for outdoor, adventure types and is a short drive from Aberdeen. Employees that relocate are well looked after!
