Pros

- Most of the people are great and easy to work with - The work-life balance was good - Work remote - Compensation & benefits were good

Cons

Overall my experience was discouraging. The work environment and leadership on the marketing team were not aligned with progressive management. - There is a lack of culture and connection with people in the company outside of your team. - Marketing leadership is very hands-on and micromanaged, even though they say they don't in the interview process. - Lack of courtesy and professional manner in meetings, the tone can get combative quickly. - When I asked to be included in emails and meetings regarding my job responsibilities, I was told by the Head of Marketing, I was overstepping in my role and that I was not being flexible and agile. - Taking initiative on projects was made out to be a bad thing since it was not overseen or controlled by leadership. - Major lack of diversity in the company, however, I think they are trying to fix that. - The role was more junior than described in the interview process and felt more like a project manager rather than a "lead".

Pros

It's a job with consistent paycheck (for now)

Cons

I agree with the points made previously by my former colleague in sales. Compensation was much better before we were acquired by the private equity firm. Since then we're paid less and expected to do more. Couple that with the ongoing loss of coworkers and poor middle-management, and it's not at all what it used to be, which is a shame. It used to be a great place to be.

Pros

no managerial pressure, low entry threshold

Cons

All decisions are done by one person, CEO. Even small product development decisions. Fun fact (just so you feel it): the colorblind CEO is the final approval for the site color theme. People pretend to be your friends, but the only thing they care is their bonuses. And a lot of shittalks and actions behind your back. No career/promo path, shady bonus scheme, unprofessional managers I wouldn't recommend this company, i know they are looking for investors - don't put money in it, they will ruin it
