Pros

In retrospect, it was just a job and bad choice for employment! Only positive experience was some of the Direct Care were actually caring and nurturing.

Cons

Because I was salary, I was expected to work many overtime hours without additional compensation. Clients' medical needs were insatiable and difficult for one RN to meet with more than 200 then 400 clients to serve.

Better than nothing

Pros

Not very stressful dealing with clients, nice coworkers

Cons

Wages are VERY low so turn over of employees is high (this is a BILLION dollar company so wages could be higher) The low wages tend to draw people who don't really want to work or will just not show up which isn't fair to the clients and makes Rescare look bad, pay is only twice a month instead of bi weekly, poor communication so many things fall through cracks
