Pros

Very thorough reference search of potential employees..

Cons

Constant changes and additional in services and out of pocket expenses for training before even being paid. In services changed and canceled. Daily online required in services. To much is done through computer and web site. I find this very impersonal. never paid for hours spent on "training" which was a joke. it was more like here, read this and then take this test..you can look up the answers.

High technology is number one focus of senior mgmt High productivity is widely encouraged of everyone Fast paced environment Great publicity reporting

Cons

Abusive management style Fires people if they go on vacation or take personal time off while they are on vacation This happened to people this Christmas as well as warnings given to others There is only one salesperson left in co., and minimal support staff. Operations is down to nothing as well. Mostly due to people being fired and then others leaving due to this.

Pros

As personal health care companies go they seem a little better organized than other places I've worked.

Cons

For part-time/occasional employee there are no benefits to speak of, which seems the norm for this type of work. Last-minute calls for assignments can be annoying and sometimes stressful. Clients are charged over twice what the employees are paid. Knowing that has a tendency to be discouraging to employees. The rather high hourly rate charged to clients could also could contribute to fewer and shorter available assignments.
