      Great coworkers. The hiring team knows how to find great people

      Everything else. I wish I was joking. Everything went downhill after they went public. Upper management only cares about results with little regard for the people who are overworked to the point of burnout. You are just a number and you will be laid off despite your contributions at ANY time. Don’t speak up or you will be retaliated against in some form. There is limited career growth and VERY limited coaching from leaders. Brilliant Earth has successfully cultivated a toxic work culture that crushes employee morale. You will be overworked and underpaid. My advise is to run the other way while you can.

      - Amazing, collaborative team environment—coworkers are supportive and fun to work with. - Alida is an outstanding manager: she’s approachable, leads by example, and genuinely cares about her team’s success and well-being. - Great opportunity to learn about fine jewelry and connect with clients. - The showroom is beautiful, and it’s exciting to be part of a well-recognized brand. My time at Brilliant Earth Bethesda was defined by the people I worked with. The team was incredibly supportive, and I always felt like I had colleagues I could count on. Most importantly, our manager Alida set the tone for a positive and productive work environment. She’s hands-on in the best way—always available to guide, give feedback, and celebrate wins with us. Having a manager who genuinely cares about her team made the experience stand out. If you’re looking for a role where teamwork and strong leadership are valued, this location is a great place to be.

      Cons

      Retail hours can be challenging at times (weekends and evenings), but that’s to be expected in this industry.
