Pros

Friendly colleagues, no micro managing, awesome team outings. This is not the place for you if you're not a hard worker. Brilliant Earth is blowing up in the best way, so if you want to be a part of something like that and you're able to multitask without being handheld, this is a great fit for you.

Cons

Nothing to note, really. Maybe I'm just from a different generation, but some of the cons I've read on here are laughable.

Pros

Surrounded by colleagues I felt were incredibly smart and focused, Brilliant Earth was a great place for my own career development. The company gave me a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on the business early on in my role, which allowed me to learn and grow rapidly. My manager and team encouraged me and helped me to produce the best work I could, and the company was quick to reward my contributions both with raises and title promotions. Also, knowing that the business was committed to a mission I really admired was another element of my role at Brilliant Earth that I loved.

Cons

PTO blackout period can be difficult if your family lives far away.

Pros

If you're looking for a job where you can get paid for slacking off and eat a lot of food for free, this is it.

Cons

Brilliant Earth is opening many showrooms too quickly therefore hiring anyone and everyone that applies. Their employees lack experience and maturity. The turn over is outrageous because the employees can't handle the work and the managers don't know how to manage. Everyone makes up answers as they go along, so you will never have your questions answered properly if at all. There is no open door policy so if you have great ideas for improvement, they don't want to hear it. If you reach out to the VPS or higher level managers, they don't want to talk to you and they'll ignore your emails and phone calls. They make you do a lot of useless work just to feel like they are managing something.
