      - Learning about the jewelry industry - Having an eco-friendly mission

      Cons

      - Pretty much every type of harassment you can think of - No basic professionalism - Hostile work environment - Bullying - Unrealistic sales goals - Favoritism - No support from management - HR training is extensive but workplace remains offensive and unprofessional - Cramped workspace that is a fire hazard - Employees and managers bad-mouth customers - If jewelry is poor quality the retail employees get blamed - Low clarity about internal processes or communication between teams - Pay is not adequate for the work load

      Pros

      Brilliant Earth has been a wonderful place to work! We are a fast-growing and ambitious team, but still grounded in a supportive, values-driven culture. Even as the company has scaled quickly, leadership has stayed focused on transparency, collaboration, and doing the right thing, which makes it feel like everyone is working toward something meaningful together. There are plenty of opportunities to learn, take on new challenges, and grow your career, and I’ve consistently felt encouraged to develop new skills and stretch into bigger responsibilities. Overall, it’s a been a great environment with a great team and overall purpose.

      Pros

      Gaining entry to early mid level knowledge about jewelry and meeting such wonderful people, such as employees and some customers.

      Cons

      Toxic workplace, top down company, low pay, no lateral promotions, major issues with quality so there are many instances of customers becoming upset, little to no transparency especially for information that is needed to be shared for all employees, etc.
