Pros

Being part of Brilliant Earth is being part of history in the making. I love being part of a company that is at the social and environmental forefront in the jewelry industry that’s making a real difference. I have never had a dull moment in all the 6 years I’ve worked here and every year is always better than the next. For so many years, I get to witness the incredible growth of the company and helping it to further more each day. My work family is constantly growing bigger. This family is the hardest, most dedicated and fun-loving bunch I know. I am here because I am committed to making a difference through my work. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to do that here with the best team on earth. I started out with the company in Sales spreading our mission with one customer after another to leading our Gem department and ensuring that our suppliers and our gems meet the highest ethical standards that make us famous in this industry. Opportunities for growth are endless and waiting for you to take advantage of them.

Cons

Cons

Genuinely the most toxic work environment I have ever had in my entire life. Everything here is great until you start to notice/ acknowledge the lack of quality in all product in addition to the lack of corporate direction or structure. Once you start to become an advocate for the customer who’s paying tens of thousands of dollars for a product that can’t make it a week, a target is put on your back. More dedication and consistency is put into attempting to make an employee leave than trying to rework company structure, operations/standards, or quality of product. Absolutely mind boggling company that has a plethora of negative reviews about their product on most showrooms across multiple platforms.

Pros

The company pays for monthly outings for the team I like the people I work with It's easy to develop good relationships with people from across the company Great benefits Great discount on loose stones BE offers natural and lab diamonds, allowing customers the option to choose

Cons

I was misled about my expected total compensation. To the point I'm having trouble paying my bills now. Literally everyone keeps leaving to the point it's hindering our ability to take care of customers on the front end The product quality is really poor and I essentially have to bend the truth to answer customers questions when it comes to product quality. I consider myself to be an ethical salesperson, but working here has kept me from being able to say that. The company really tries to push this idea of it being a luxury company, but doesn't provide the product or post sales service to really live up to it. I don't really feel like the upper management really cares about what those in the showrooms/customer service have to deal with; we bear the brunt of the customers who are rightly upset. The company is clearly focused on profit and not service or product quality to the point that I've had customers return things because we didn't pass the sniff test.
