low pay, poor management, insane ratios, and shady management. outdated tech, broken equipment.

Small community hospital, easy to navigate, opportunities for moving into different departments, pay is competitive for smaller hospital.

Cons

Management is out of touch with floor staff. Floated to behavioral health units, disorganized. Burnout is very high and employees are not backed up by managers on some units.

HR listened when I negotiated my pay to match my skill level.

Cons

I left crying constantly. So stress , painfully understaffed unit. Patient way to sick for being med surg since there is no step down unit. Senior nurses that were quite me. I hated my time there.
