Good but can't retain talent.

Pros

Decent starting pay. Generous benefits including amazing health and dental insurance. Good amount of time off given.

Cons

Been employed here for a few years. Base raises were given that brought everyone to the same pay rate depending on role. While it was great for people who have been there for less than 2 years, it was extremely unfair to people who had been loyal and stayed with them through conversions and this merger. Some have been there 10, 15, and even 20 years and are now making the same as someone who was just hired including all new people in the future who are being hired for the same role. This should have been the same pay increase for everyone but instead it was disrespectful to those who have been loyal all this time. Unfortunately many experienced people left leaving mostly new people who are still learning the role creating a strain on the remaining experienced employees.

RTO Layoffs

Pros

Some benefits are okay but im going to focus on the what needs to be fixed for the org to grow.

Cons

RTO for 300+ employees that were previously full time remote, and given 3 weeks to figure out how to come back full time in office. (No exceptions) Salary increases were not given fairly. HR required managers to change ratings (move ratings down as no one can exceed etc). RTO is a hidden layoff hoping senior/expensive employees will quit versus work out of office. This is the new layoff as they didn't think about staffing going into this merger. Constant tech issues and no accountability.

RTO will brain drain this company

Pros

Nice coworkers/managers if you are on the right teams.

Cons

Executives are toying with RTO and treating it like it's some trivial perk - like it's as insignificant as whether or not to offer iced tea in the cafe. In reality the RTO game they are playing will push all of their top talent out and lower the service quality even further. I would strongly advise job seekers to stay away unless you just need to pad your resume with something for a year or two. Don't stick around though because company leadership views you as disposable.
