Pros

You have a bit of free range to do what want aslong as the job is done. Like any place of employment you can truly find friendly and respectful individuals. Work around flexible schedules.

Cons

-It is most definitely a males playing field. Females must truly exude confidence and be stern every second of the day. (Administrative wise) -Managers are not often the most professional. Their language during meetings can be condecending and not the least bit motivational. -Their facilities in general are not the cleanist and are worn down.

job stability, union hospital, work with the poorest patients who really need your help

Cons

short staffed, lots of floating, dangerous nurse patient ratios, management who doesn't listen to nurses, lazy nurses
