The Benefits are nice and generous vacation.

Cons

extremely political and organizational culture has gone by the wayside over the past 3 years. Middle management believes they can manage from their desks. Talent & intelligence is frowned upon.

Compensation is pretty decent, $3 lunch every day, and a nice office location in Downtown

Cons

Poor upper management, catty coworkers who mock and ridicule each other behind each others' back (from observation, not even personal experience), unprofessional and poorly educated people in management positions, lack of professional development, high turnover, no sense of belonging or culture, whole firings of departments, pervasive negativity and low morale

Pros

GGP has a amazing collection on shopping centers.

Cons

The CEO and senior executives do not understand marketing at all. They have reorganized the marketing department numerous times over my 3 years and will never give a program more than 6 months before they are on to the next. On 12-1-2015, the field marketing staff was all laid off because the CEO says 'research shows that local marketing brings no value to our malls.' If you are considering working for GGP you should reconsider due to the unprofessional management of senior leadership.
