From my own experience, so many Brooks employees bring passion, energy and commitment to work every day because engaging with runners, the sport and the active lifestyle is so positive. Every day is a better with a run and Brooks helps make that happen. I personally get enthused by it and I think we attract others who share that passion. Around pay, it's important to know that each year, with the help of third-party market data, we benchmark every role to ensure we remain competitive against similar companies. As important, we think about our total compensation and benefits package. Our annual bonus program, PTO policy, 401k program, and deeply discounted/free gear and race registration all contribute to making that strong. The pride in the products we bring to market, the excitement for our current growth and future opportunity, the flexible work environment, the emphasis on a healthy work-life balance and an active lifestyle, the amazing events and volunteer opportunities we offer…. all these things make working at Brooks unique. As for the open office layout, while connection and collaboration flourish in this type of environment, we recognize that focus work can be challenging, especially for those who prefer not to use one of our many private focus rooms. In this hot Seattle summer, we'll keep working with building owners on ways to even out the temperature in the different areas of the office; the need to actively manage temperature zones is part and parcel of being in a uniquely green building!
