Pros

Great culture because of great people who work here. Passion for running is felt by all top-down. Opportunities for free gear. IT support is one of the best. Laptop is fast and connectable from any remote working location. Company goes all out on the midyear and annual company events.

Cons

3-days in office mandate. We're not given a 'why' by leadership, just told we are better when we collaborate in-person like the old ways we used to do it (pre-pandemic). A huge set back from everything we've learned from the pandemic and newer ways of working. They will force 4-days in office later in the year. Flat organization and minimal turnover. Promotions are hard to come by. Bonus and merit is very conditional year-to-year, so it's like a common threat used against you all year to work harder. Employee discount could be better.

Pros

Great culture and environment. A lot of great benefits. Free gear, free gym (which they just remodeled) free lunch 3 days a week, small contribution to 401k and HSA, basically unlimited PTO which is HUGE. Only 2-3 days in the office and lots of fun events.

Cons

Just not enough money. I get being okay making less for a culture that is worth it but the office is right in Fremont. Everything around it to rent or buy is crazy expensive and right next to a homeless encampment. It's just not competitive enough pay to also accommodate for the high cost of living in Seattle and they don't offer COLA. Bonuses were not given last year and we are now in a hiring freeze. As recruiters reach out and offer me $20k more, it's going to be hard to say no to that as my own company isn't willing to offer me what I"m worth.
