Pros

I loved my co-workers that I worked with (for the most part). Every one was very nice and stayed pretty positive.

Cons

The biggest con is by far Mr. Robert Broulim. He is the owner and is a VERY hard person to work for. He is extremely unreasonable and is never satisfied and never positive.

Pros

I worked out in Driggs, Idaho so my bosses were all very laid back and easy going. The pay is excellent for Idaho (min wage being 7.25 ) and the higher ups listen when you have ideas.

Cons

The owner of the store is a wack job...its hard to explain...you just have to meet him.

Pros

Pays the bills and if you are a full time employee, they offer benefits. Most of the employees at store level are great to work with. There are a few who spread mean spirited gossip but you soon figure out who they are. I'm sure there are worse places to work but if you want to keep a shred of self respect you will start looking for something else before the ink is dry on your "New Hire" paperwork.

Cons

If you start working at Broulim's thinking that you are going to make a difference or what you do or how you do it matters, you will soon change your mind. Robert Broulim visits each of his 10 stores on a regular basis. While there, he runs around barking orders at any employee that he comes across. Most of the time for the same issue so he has 3 or 4 people doing the same thing at the same time. He never forgets to tell you that he appreciates the job you do followed immediately by the word BUT.... In the whole time I worked there, I never heard him say good job, to ANYONE, and just leave it at that. He is never satisfied and his very insincere "Thank You" makes you want to hurl. He is rude and feels entitled to be rude because he pays you a wage. Communication isn't a priority so you are constantly being told to do one thing by someone and then getting in trouble and told to change it by someone else. Every single day is an exercise in futility. Nepotism is alive and well at Broulims too. They love to hire families, which is great, and family members are not allowed to work in the same departments but that doesn't apply to some of Robert's favorites. Working at Broulim's is a slow, miserable descent into .....!
