Some smart people work there and you'll be given all the resources you need to be successful (IT, travel budget, sell side access, etc.). The opportunity is there to learn and grow as an analyst.

Cons

Politics is everything. Who you know matters. The high school you attended matters. How well liked you are by the right people matters. All these things matter more than your actual job performance.

Everyone is miserable! Upper management is cut throat, this company could turn a poodle into a pitbull! They promote and demote like nothing I have ever seen and the turn over is crazy.

The culture is second to none. People REALLY care about serving clients well. The firm continues to grow and the new employees that have joined us over the last couple of years are some of the smartest and most collaborative business professionals I've ever had the pleasure to work alongside. The senior leadership team is a very approachable and strong. I'm really happy to have found such a great place to build my career.

Cons

Employees work really hard. This place isn't for you if you are not comfortable with change.
