Lifespan is an OK place to work, assuming you are on their good side

Pros

Great benefits, good location, large, stable employer. Lifespan offers some definite benefits to potential employees, but in the corporate structure, watch out for favoritism. The rules and policies are constantly changing to accommodate employees who are on management's good side, often with little regard for everyone else.

Cons

Company constantly losing money, non-profit status means low salaries. There is a lot of aggravation for very little payout. Middle management is ruled by senior management, who is often out of touch and therefore cannot provide the best advice or leadership. It is a VERY corporate place to work.
