Pros

You will get $12.00 per hour if you work in the Deli or $11.00 per hour if you work as a Cashier or in Gifts. That is the one and only thing good about the job. Let me stress ONLY!

Cons

You WILL work for 8 hours straight with no chance to sit down because there is not a table or chair anywhere (except for managment). Customers ask for somewhere to sit and they cant either. You will be worked like a slave. You will be bullied and harassed by upper managment if your not part of their clic. It is like High Scool all over again but they are meaner. They dont care about anything but the numbers and themselves. Managment are gods who get to eat what they want, when they want for free(product theft) with no consequences, Alot of double standards! I would not wish this job on Marilyn Manson!

Disrespectful to employees, no breaks / tables / chairs

Pros

Good pay and good employees whom are drug free, tattoo free, smoke free environment. Full time means 40+ hours here and that is easy to get as they pay from the moment you clock in until you clock out. They encourage you to clock in at least 20 minutes early each day. So overtime pay happens on every check.

Cons

No chairs to sit in, no table to eat at, Not expected to take "breaks" or "lunch". You can "eat on the fly" if you are lucky. Very restrictive hiring practice = no visible tattoos, no smoking on the Buc-ee's property, no unnatural hair colors, no weird cuts, men hair had to be short. If you follow the food handlers course then you may become upset when your area is contaminated with food or chemicals by fellow co workers. The area we had to work in was not large enough and had to be used by several people - often at the same time so meat cross contamination was a big issue.

Good pay, bad treatment

Pros

If you are working for a pay check it is wonderful. You get at least $11 an hour and they schedule you all the time. So if hours and pay is what you want have fun. Also your coworkers are extremely amazing!

Cons

ON THE OTHER HAND: You will never get a shift shorter than 8 hours even on part time. There are absolutely no perks (discount nothing.) You have a single 5 to 10 min break in the warehouse with absolutely no table or chair or anything no matter how long your shift is. It's just a lot of work for the pay you get and it is a nice paycheck but sometimes I felt as if it wasn't worth not having a life.
