      Pros

      Working with kids! I didn't think I would be good with kids before starting this job, but it was so much fun. We were encouraged to play and go out of our way to make guests' visits special. All the merchandise is really cute and fun/easy to sell. The management team that hired me was incredible and some of the most sincerely kind people I've ever met, and I still consider them good friends. This was my first retail job and I was very shy starting out, but the management team was so patient and supportive with me and helped me grow so much.

      Cons

      Our head manager left the store eventually and replaced him with someone from outside the company instead of promoting from within, which rubbed me the wrong way considering someone on the management team had been with the company for years and years and deserved the promotion. After that, the store sort of fell apart and got very disorganized and felt less happy. It felt like a different store.
