Pros

Very hands on and personal experience with each customer, fun environment, room to wear different hats (in one day you can work the register, the stuffer, dress me area or host birthday parties) and the employee discount is fair.

Cons

Depending on the location, mine being the old 5th avenue 46th street location in NYC, retail in general has a lot of catty workers, drama, attitudes and petty managers, not all but a good group that were there. But most retail jobs share this quality.

Pros

The kids are amazing!! Only pro.. that's saying something.

Cons

I am a associate manager and get no recognition. The chiefs get all the credit when they really don't do half as much as us other managers do. This is not a place for anyone to work unless you just want a small side job. It's not as much fluffy fun as it used to be. They are trying to make it more businessy and less family oriented. It's terrible don't work here!!!!! Their core values are lies and upper management is terrible. I never recommend this position to anyone. Even the regular sales associates do more than chiefs and don't get recognition either. No room for advancement and they get like 4-8 hours a week. Ridiculous.

Pros

Customers are awesome, company itself is great, uppermanagment is spectacular. Store level associate management is amazing. Great training, great coaching, super caring.

Cons

Store manager is not flexible, not employee focused. Unless you are a manager or have open availability you get short 4 hours shifts, no career advancement possible, too small of a company.
