Pros

The people are awesome, the store feels like a family and people are always there to help you with anything. The guests are mainly tourists but some locals and they always have a story to tell you some of the best memories I have at this store are from the guests

Cons

The company has moved in a new direction and it is making for a hostile work environment. The once family feel of the store is slowly leaving along with the managers and employees who have been with the company for years. They should really hold everyone to the same standards and not play favorites. Hopefully they see that the more they move away from the fun and family atmosphere the more they will loss their employees

Pros

A very friendly work environment. You feel like your get to go to work and play all day! A variety of positions throughout the day to break up the monotony.

Cons

They had/have on call scheduling so your set to call in at a certain time to see if they need you. This made it very difficult to have a second job as on days your weren't scheduled you still might need to call in and 99% of the time they don't need you. You are only scheduled maybe 15 hours a week so a second job seems very necessary but when asked if they would be understanding instead you get "we are your first job we will not entertain scheduling requests for a second job.

Pros

Good people, good outlook. They seemed to really care about their employees, and most stores have a good atmosphere. Overall not too bad compared to some jobs.

Cons

poor pay, long hours. Often feel the pressure to reach sales goals that are unattainable, which is both disheartening and annoying as you are constantly reminded that your job depends on meeting these goals. The pay is not the best figuring all of the work you have to do.
