Pros
They really treated most employees well during the good times. Stock options went to managers. Outside salesmen made great money until the housing crash
Cons
They are mostly owned by a couple of investment firms that are pretty ruthless when it came to cutting people, taking out people with 25+ years with the company. Middle management is pretty good but senior management doesn't really care about anyone but their stock options.
